xero mag’s BDSM for nice guys… works great for nice girls too.
This is a great article. A good one also for anyone who thinks “how can sane/nice people be interested in hurting each other and getting off on it?!”
Doesn’t this kind of assume that in hetero relationships, the man will take the dominant role when engaged in BDSM? I suppose it was written with that scenario in mind to help ‘nice guys’ get over their fear that they’ll be treating their partner badly if they engage in BDSM but it did kind of make it sound like if a woman brings up the subject of BDSM with her boyfriend she’s automatically telling him that she wants him to dominate her.
Well, it’s for “nice” guys, they’d probably be less uncomfortable being submissive. You don’t really need to stop being nice to be a sub, you have more hang ups to get over as a nice dom/me.
