thepeacockangel asked: So, I just goth this on my main blog, and I thought you, dear readers of Queer Kink might want to read the answer:
This might be kind of different from the usual stuff you get, it's kind of an advice question. I think I might not be able to have orgasms during penetration...you're so aware of your body and in control of your sexuality. I really respect that, Do you have any tips? I'm a straight 20 year old girl, no problems with clitoral orgasms. It just doesn't seem to feel good (not bad, just not great) when anything is inside me. Thanks for your time and input!

Do you mean you have trouble coming from penetration exclusively?  Because, well honey, that’s perfectly normal.  Most women cannot have orgasms from internal stimulation alone.  Some can, but the majority of women have clitoral or mixed orgasms, and not much else.  However, even women who can have internal (or g-spot) orgasms, often can’t have them without having multiple clitoral orgasms first.  So, if you’re having penetrative sex with a partner, make sure you’re getting plenty of clitoral stimulation (you can use their hand, your hand, a vibrator, or even a position where your clitoris is stimulated by their body).  I personally don’t really enjoy penetrative sex without clitoral stimulation, when I have a clitoral orgasm it feels better with something inside me often, but penetration alone is very “meh” for me.

However, if you have problems having a clitoral orgasm with something inserted, there could be a few reasons.

1. You could simply not be used to it, sometimes we connect orgasm with a certain sensation/stimulus and we have trouble coming other ways.  I’d practice with having clitoral orgasms with a smallish dildo inserted, to get used to the sensation of penetration during orgasm.

2. You might need to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.  In which case I would do kegels to strengthen them (how to do kegels) possibly with an exerciser such as the Sinfive Emgi.
