Well I would really suggest being careful to avoid actual burns, if they’re up for chemical based heat play ginger figging provides a wonderful burning sensation without risking blistering as with many other heating chemicals, you can also play with tiger balm fairly safely. I would recommend not using wax for this sort of play, as to get the burning sensation you’re looking for you’d have to actually create burns. You can also look into a violet wand which allows one to create minor controlled burns.
